Allendorf (Eder), 20.03.2019 - For Viessmann, ISH 2019 has come to an end with a new visitor record. The previous record of 77,000 guests from 2017 had already been set by the end of the fair on Thursday evening. "All that's left is an encore", Max Viessmann and stand manager Dr. Frank Voßloh agreed at the last "Morning Briefing". The result on Friday evening: 89,000 guests visited the Viessmann stand during the five days of the fair. The bottom line was that two out of three ISH visitors visited the company in Hall 12.
Voßloh not only emphasized the high motivation of the entire trade fair team. Above all, the partnership concept of this year's presentation was very well received. An additional plus: Compared to last year's ISH, the proportion of foreign visitors to the stand has increased once again.
The highlight of the fifth and last day of the fair was the start of the big Viessmann Roadshow. Anyone who was unable to find out about the integrated Viessmann solution range in Frankfurt now has the opportunity to do so in the branches of Viessmann Deutschland GmbH. The first stop was on Tuesday (19.03.2019) in Kassel, and the orange Viessmann trucks will be travelling to all 32 German locations until 10 July.
Siegbert Simon has been coming to the roadshow for many years - formerly the ISH follow-up - and concludes positively: "I was very satisfied with the advice provided on the first day of the ISH in Frankfurt and there already. Nevertheless, I've been coming to the roadshow for many years now. It's simply much more personal here and the talks are even more intensive." His son Manuel Simon, who has since taken over the family business, is also enthusiastic: "I can say that there is nothing that makes Viessmann bad.
A total of around 190,000 guests from 161 countries came to the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre to find out about innovations and trends. For five days, 2,532 exhibitors (Germany: 868, abroad: 1,664) from 57 countries presented their new products for the first time in Frankfurt am Main. At the same time, ISH expanded its relevance by significantly increasing its internationality: 66 per cent (2017: 64 per cent) of exhibitors and almost 48 per cent (2017: around 40 per cent) of visitors came from abroad.
The countries with the highest visitor numbers were China, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Great Britain, Poland, Belgium, Austria and the Czech Republic. Industry and trade were the largest visitor groups. In addition, the market research figures confirm the visitors' satisfaction with the products on display with 97 percent.
Exhibitors and visitors alike rate the economic outlook as positive: 92 percent rate it as good or satisfactory.
The next ISH will take place from 22 to 26 March 2021 in Frankfurt am Main.
