Perfect service and innovative energy solutions for the wood processing industry: Viessmann will be presenting efficient, sustainable and integrated energy concepts for industry, commerce and local authorities at Ligna 2019 from 27 to 31 May in Hanover. In addition to service, the main focus will be on new digital solutions for optimum plant operation and modern engineering. The Industrial Systems Division of the Viessmann Group will be exhibiting in Hall 26, Stand G 27.
Viessmann will be exhibiting highly efficient and sustainable solutions such as the Vitoflex 300-FSB for heating outputs from 180 to 2,600 kW at its stand. The fully automatic wood-fired boiler with flat grate firing is impressive with its low power consumption and high efficiency of up to 92 percent. The entire boiler system is completely insulated - for minimal radiation losses. Various wood fuels can be used universally as fuel: from forest and sawmill waste, wood chips, wood shavings, sawdust, chipboard, MDF and pellets.
In the timber industry, efficiency and cost pressure are decisive factors; nobody can afford long downtimes. This is why Viessmann has developed new digital products and visualisation systems to provide operators with the best possible support for all aspects of plant operation – for a long-term safe process for wood combustion plants. The digital solutions range from HFA alarms, simple e-mail alarms for transmitting fault and alarm messages to complex evaluations and forecasting tools such as HFA VISU.
The digital, cloud-based products for Viessmann wood combustion systems are tailored to the different needs of the various plant operators. HFA VISU small for smaller systems offers a simple display of the most important system parameters. With this tool, four preset trends such as flow and return temperature, flame temperature, fuel quantity and air quantity can be specifically monitored. For large plants HFA VISU large comes into play, the visualisation tool in a class of its own. Based on collected data, HFA VISU large optionally produces 2D or 3D representations, evaluations and forecasts in order to optimise heating operation and thus minimise downtimes.
Plant design for commercial and industrial biomass energy supply is a complex challenge. An innovative process from Viessmann Industrial Boiler Solutions now ensures optimised project management for fired industrial and biomass boilers and waste heat boiler systems. Using a 3D scan, the existing premises are precisely recorded and the boiler systems are digitally planned in the old building by Viessmann specialists. As a result, a "digital twin" of the complete future plant is created during the planning phase, following the BIM (Building Information Modeling) approach.
The new Vitoligno 300-H biomass boiler for automatic feeding with wood pellets and wood chips, which will be presented at the Viessmann stand, also offers high efficiency. A new feature of the Vitoligno 300-H, for example, is the vertical arrangement of the heat exchanger. As a result, only a small amount of ash is deposited, allowing long cleaning intervals. The comfortable and compact central heating unit offers a nominal heat output of 135 and 150/160 kW and features simple installation, automatic ignition and fully automatic ash removal from the grate and heat exchanger. Thanks to staged combustion, the Vitoligno 300-H also scores with low fuel consumption and high efficiency of up to 94.6 percent.
At the booth of the specialists for industrial systems, service and comprehensive service concepts will be the main focus. Viessmann's own service unit, Viessmann Industrial Service GmbH, shows that service is a top priority at Viessmann. It offers complete service from a single source for industrial boiler and power plant systems. The professionals focus on the complete lifecycle of an energy system, from consulting to design and maintenance.
Viessmann is continuously changing from a heating technology manufacturer to a solution provider for the entire living space. The company develops seamless air conditioning solutions that provide people with the optimum room temperature, hot water, electricity and good air quality in equal measure. In its Integrated Solutions range, Viessmann seamlessly combines products and systems on the basis of the right energy sources via platforms and digital services.
