Allendorf, 12.12.2017 – In the hundredth year of its existence, the Viessmann Group can look back on a very successful business year overall. Prof. Dr. Martin Viessmann: "Viessmann is setting off into a new century. As a family-owned company, we are resolutely tackling the major challenges of energy system transformation and digitisation - and have repositioned ourselves organisationally to do so".
Prof. Dr. Martin Viessmann will continue to lead the Viessmann Group as President. In future, two Group CEOs will be in charge of the operational business: Max Viessmann will assume responsibility for the Heating Systems Division and new digital business under VC/O, while Joachim Janssen will concentrate on the Industrial Systems and Cooling Systems Divisions. Dr. Ulrich Hüllmann, CFO, will continue to be a member of the Board of Directors.
The reorganization of the company management is a decisive step forward in our generational change. I am very grateful that my son and Joachim Janssen will jointly assume operational responsibility and lead the company into its second century," said Prof. Viessmann. However, the change is not only of a personnel nature, but also of a content nature. The Viessmann Group has thus redefined the core of its activities. Max Viessmann and Joachim Janssen: "For 100 years we have stood above all for heat. But our responsibility as a family business goes far beyond that: we create and preserve living space for the generations of today and tomorrow.
This is the guiding principle of the Viessmann Group for the future. Integrated energy systems and above all digital solutions will play an even more important role in the second Viessmann century. In this way, the company wants to make its contribution to preserving life on our planet for future generations.
